What the fuck is with this team letting our goaltender get run? Outside of Myers playing like shit, he coasted over to Lucic and watched Sekera... SEKERA... challenge Lucic. He's a big man, and he needs to start playing like one. I hope this game serves as a wakeup call to Ruff. The only physical defenseman in our lineup so far has been Regehr. It's time to play Weber regularly, and get either Grags or Myers on the bench. Shameful, shameful display. Same old bull shit. |

I have absolutely no faith in Lindy right now. I am fairly confident he told them not to retaliate. Gragnani and Myers should be sitting come Monday..... |

Someone needed to simply bull rush Lucic and get him in a headlock and wrestle him to the ice, at the very least, even if it took two guys to do it. I don't know if they have the mentality, per Ruff, to "keep a cool head and play hockey", but if so they sure as shit didn't do that either. I thought Myers and Sekera put on one of the worst defensive showings I've ever seen from a Sabres d-pair, but then Ehrhoff almost topped it all by himself, along with Gragnani playing the weakest 2-on-1 I've ever seen. 1st goal - Myers got caught flat-footed and Sekera doesn't come over to help at all...just watches. 2nd goal - Another 2-on-1 courtesy of Myers and Sekera fails to take the shooter or deny the pass. 3rd goal - Ehrhoff is way up ice for no apparent reason, allowing a 2-on-1 that Gragnani didn't feel like doing anything about. The rest - who f-ing cares the game was over after that, but Ehrhoff decided to one up, and then two-up the other clueless dimwits on defense just for funsies I guess. Not sure what was worse...the lack of response or the absolute brain lock of the d-men. Talk about having your nose rubbed in it...gadzooks. |

Vanek was the only one who skated hard after Lucic. It's just too bad he's not a fighter. VANEK!!!! Sekera didn't even go try and take him out really. |

im so pissed at this team right now, idc if were 10-6, were playing like shit, and im starting to think more and more that its lindys time to go, this team is soft, the only people on this team i truely love right now are vanek, regher, gerbe, ellis, and cody, everyone else has no heart |

After Lucic rammed Miller, the rest of the team literally let them just skate right by and have their way with both of our goalies. |

It might be easier for me to say this, but I wouldn't go after Lucic to fight a fair toe-to-toe fight. I would go after Lucic to pull a defensive tactics manuever, get him in an arm bar and slam him to the ice face first. One way or the other he'd be going down with a choke hold and a season's worth of humiliation. I absolutely wouldn't let go until all four officials managed to pry me off of him. Yeah, I'd get suspended for weeks, but putting him to sleep is better than a concussion. Anyway, it doesn't take a big guy to do something serious in response to that, as long as you actually have the nerve/guts/courage. |

Posted from another site. This team needs a little injection of toughness and balls. T-pegs spent all kinds of money but this team is still created in Darcys image. Lets face it,we're too soft to compete against teams like the bruins when they ramp it up into playoff mode. Couldn't agree more. |

what pisses me off is that Boston was doing all the hacking and hitting for the rest of the game after the hit..All the Sabres do and ever do is hope for that penalty and do nothing else.. The whole league has gone pussy,without the threat of the goon that is willing to give a two-hander to the knee for this crap,Hits like on Miller will not go away.. Players are still dirty and do get pissed at each other to the point where crap like the Miller hit still happen,the NHL has gotten rid of the goons but not why they were needed in the first place |

When Cody fought last season, it was at the end of a very long shift and he was totally gassed. It was an even fight until Cody just couldn't keep going. Still though, it's only him and Gaustad (Regehr sort of). Boston has about five good fighters. |
