With several more injuries, including Vanek (game time) they called up Foligno and Whitmore for Tuesday.

Jesus tapdancing Christ. Question quick. Let's just say we have a majority of our starters and cap space on IR. We try to bring up enough AHL players to play a game, but we can't bring up enough to field a team. Is this possible and has it happened before? Would we forfeit or reschedule?

I think someone post somewhere here that they can go to even lower leagues if needed

I feel bad for the numbers cruncher. Desperate and depressing times here. Hopefully it's just an early season thing

You can also skate with a short bench, the rules states you can dress UP to 18 skaters, but you dont have to. NJD skated with 18 total dressed a few times when they were cap locked by that whole Kovalchuk debacle.

Thanks man. Wasn't sure about how that worked out. Has the trainer been investigated for tampering with equipment?

No, but the owner was seen sniffing around the dirty laundry bin full of jockstraps. Maybe he's in on it? lol

The interesting thing is to see if Ruff puts together the Foligno, Adam and Kassian line.

If the lines hold from this morning, Foligno and BZK will be wingmen for Goose on the 3rd.

Not sure how happy I am to see Van/Roy/Pommer. But hey, if it works.... cool. If not, I vote we trade Roy and Staff for Malkin and Stamkos.
