Those twittering jackholes last night on NBC sports claimed that we boo Chara because of the last meeting between these teams, and his fight against Regehr. From what I remember...it actually goes back to at least 2005-2007, when he would blatantly crosscheck briere to the back of the neck/head in front of the boston goal and totally get away with it. We'd boo loud as hell, no call, and just continued to boo him everytime after that. Although I feel there have been games between now and then when we DIDNT boo him, so maybe i'm wrong. Anyone remember the roots of this? |

Yeah Chara has taken many liberties with our team. Briere stands out for some reason for me as well.(Could be that you mentioned him just now) Lucic is making his way into the boo chant as well. We get one or two more to boo and we could just chant it the whole game. And oh yeah, he's a douche. |

I honestly don't understand why we boo him. He's good at what he does. That's it. We do the same thing to other players, like Jagr, for no apparent reason. |

I'd agree that a lot of it is envy; we hate him because we wish we had him. We hope that Myers becomes him (he won't). |

I hope Myers becomes nothing like him. He's a dirty ass players, and excels because of it. Early/late hits is what Boston is good at, and dirty hits especially. Last two years, the amount of Boston players fined/suspended/inspected with hearing is a BIG BIG number. |

I also like it that Mike Milbury thinks the Sabres 6 goals were all luck. Shut up, child beating fuck ass. Nobody likes you except for Bruins fans, and I'm pretty sure they don't count as people. |

Yeah, we've boo'd his ass since he was a Senator. I think part of it is he's such an easily recognizable target. |

Chara can be dirty at times; no doubt. So can Kaleta. Tough sport played by some tough men. When you have the baddest man on your side, it's a lot easier to be brave yourself. Look at Brad Marchand. |
