Actually it was 1971. From what I can tell, the Sabres didn't have an AHL affiliate in 1970 |

seasons played for the Buffalo Sabres. i guess technically there are two answers here. Tallinder is one, but he only played 2 games that year so i dont really think it counts...anyway, whos the second? |

-Salt Lake 1970, 1971 -Cincinnati 1972 - 1976 -Hershey 1977 - 1980 -Rochester 1980 - 2007 -Portland 2008 - ? I may be off by a year or two on Hershey... |

I still think most people do not know Salt Lake was our top minor league affiliate for two years; and I think the intent of the question was about our first one. Technically I am wrong..... |
