Main points:
- Kev Sylvester is no longer doing TV broadcasts; he's switching to a 10AM-12 slot on WGR Monday-Friday.
- Harry Neale is done doing color commentary. Rob Ray will be joining a returning RJ in the booth. Danny Gare is still here. Brian Duff is the new Kevin Sylvester.

The only thing I really know is that RJ is doing more games than he did last year. If it were my guess, he's only missing the annual west coast trip, as per usual.

To be fair, this is not WGR's initiative. This is the Sabres finding a home for KSyl sicne he's been bumped off the TV side.

Good...I was not a fan of Sylvester doing play-by-play or a fan of Harry Neale being senile.

Although this calls into question who will be RJ's successor, no?
(I had assumed they were grooming Sylvester for that gig)

I couldn't stand Harry and I can't stand Danny. Kevin is okay as long as Danny isn't side tracking him so i think it would interesting to have Ray and Kevin paired up.

They posted the results of the fan surveys they sent out, and Sylvester got less than stellar marks from the respondents.

I also took away from it that RJ will do every home game and possibly 55-65 total.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted this. At the same time, WGR added more local programming today with the John Murphy Sports Show. Of course, that's probably a Bills thing more than a WGR thing.

Yep. Perfect scenario for WGR. They get 4 more hours of local content, and don't have to pay for it. :)

Man I love having Ray in there as the sole color analyst to inject a little life into the broadcast and ruffle a few feathers.

Don't know how many more times I could stand to listen to Neale tell us where the next faceoff is going to be when the opponent scores a goal.

Duff seems like he would be a decent play by play guy, but have never heard him in this role. I like his smooth delivery.

I always liked him enough, until the last season or so. I fucking hate the way he would always add his two cents right at the end of the "whip". He'd always have to get the last word in, even though the Whip is advertised as three analysts, and he's not one of them. He felt to me like someone who think he's too big for his britches.

Might not seem like much, but I turn on TV personalities quickly.
