I really hope we put Miller in against the Leafs because it would be an embarrassment to lose to them on home ice. Then again if we start Lalime against the Isles, I'm sure he'll get lit up like the last time we started him.

Why can't we just trade him to Isles for Marty?!? I mean they'll still suck in goalie dept. so what difference does it make.

Crap... I didn't even think about this. I'm going to the game on Friday and I really wanted to see Miller play...

Lalime and a 3rd for Marty? This would be a good deal that I bet they would love to take if Ricky D. comes back

I don't ever want to see him on the ice again. With our schedule being Wednesday, Friday, Saturday for the foreseeable future, I think Miller can handle it. We're going to have a real problem come that west coast 2 week stretch in January.

Marty? Yes. It should have already happened. I'm hoping we grab him at our next chance come UFA.

Sorry Patty, but you just aint' cutting it.

Start Lalime against the leafs, he is in sore need of a confidence boost. Play Miller against the isles. We always have trouble that second night.

we also need to hope that whatever game Lalime does start, the team actually shows up in front of him. cuz that hasn't really happened very often. Not to excuse Lalime for all of the missed saves, but having a solid team in front of you helps a bit.

I reeeeeaaaaally don't want to lose to the Maple Leafs, but I think in the larger scheme of things I'd much rather lose to them than to the Islanders.

I also hate that I mentally pencil in an L whenever Lalime starts.

bugs the heck out of me too.. because if we actually played well when he's in.. and not scared little pansies, then we'd still have a great chance to win.

we should be okay with Lalime against the Leafs and Miller the Islanders. As long as the team shows up we'll be ok but i wouldnt be surprised if we lose against one of those 2 teams. buffalo seems to have a habit of making crappy teams look good.

If i had to pick one thing i don't like about this team, It would be our back up goaltender. I'm sorry, But i watch him very closely when he plays and he just does't look confident, clam and collective. If this team wants to stay atop of the division, They need to address our back up goaltender. I'll give himm 3 more games and decide if he stays or goes, but right now it doesn't look good.

Here's an idea, bring the Dominator back from Czechoslovakia. :D

This just in: Dominik Hasek owns a time machine and has traveled back to a country that no longer exists.

;)

It's a tough situation...Lalime is going to start one of those games, but this winning streak can't last forever either.

It's a lose / lose situation for Patty.

Ya, but we could and should win both of these games. I think regardless of who is in net this weekend, Buffalo clean sweeps it. With a shutout on 1 of the 2 games. Hopefully both games.

I'm going to be at that game... and I'll be miserable if the Sabres lose.

LOL woops. Well if Czechoslovakia DID exist, we should definitely rescue the Dominator before the country folds again.   I guess we are already too late. :shifty:

Well toronto does have 2 really bad goalies, So maybe we can just outscore them. CLEARLY, The sabres have much better offense then Toronto and I would say Lalime is better than both goalies in Toronto. Toskala isnt bad, just inn Toronto he is LOL
