I just watched the bit about the Sabres trip to Florida on the homepage. The parents and players got to play with Pegulas cars which is an awesome thing to do (made me jealous). I'm happy for them to spent some really fun time with friends and family but it made me a little mad because of their poor play on the ice. I feel some of the players don't give everything on the ice. Seeing that they get treated really well and they still float around the ice and can't give 100% is aggrevating. As a fan, I think it's not right to give them all this little benefits (aside from a shit ton of money) while they keep on sucking. Terry really has to be a good person. Doing these things, watching his employees having fun even though most of them are doing a terrible job. Well, the Dad's trip is a tradition that goes back many years and they always have some sort of fun outing...so I think that's just coincidental. My 2 takeaways from that video 1. Pegula knows his cars and I'm jealous of his collection 2. His house (compound / resort / estate) in Boca is simply ridiculous....holy crap. /no I don't think the players are treated *too* well. They're millionaires, they can spoil themselves. |

He fired Ruff, they all know their job is on the line now. Gotta treat your players well or they won't want to come back to Buffalo. You also need to think of free agent signings when doing things like that to current players. They say come to Buffalo because our owner loves us and does stuff for us, what about your owner? |

They're millionaires, they can spoil themselves. He seems to have a taste for American muscle with a European touch sprinkled in there. The SLR surprised me. I love the blue painter's tape on the front-ends to protect against rock chips/debris. |
