:evil: Why not just say you are glad to have the second pick because McDavid and Eichel are both first round picks. Altho it's assumed McDavid will go first, Edmonton hasn't commited. There is no point in whining to the media with the sour face since they can't help. Instead of putting a joyful spin on welcoming Eichel you sounded as if he were chopped liver. I got a bad feeling about Murray. I hope I'm wrong.

I think he was just upset about having to drive all the way out to Toronto, wait in a room only to see that they lost, wait around longer until the show aired, and then get mobbed by the media, when like he said, "They could've just phoned me." I believe he really was just annoyed at the process since they expected to pick second, knowing that there was an 80-percent chance of it going into the event.

He probably could've worded things better but I think people are overreacting to it all.
