I don't want this team to be too successful too early. A loss like that makes them aware that they can be better, and need to be in order to do damage in the playoffs. They're going to be ready for the next game against Philly. Just wait and see. |

I'm pissed, because just like last season, every time I get home late and stay up late to watch the game on DVR, it's a waste of my fucking time. So now instead of sleeping well right now, I'm blowing off steam typing away in this joint. Swell... |

In some of the post game interviews today, a lot of them mentioned how this was a dose of reality for them, which can be a very good thing. Can't get too high, Can't get too low. Too much early success might give them big heads, and the idea that they can coast, which obviously can't happen. These kinda losses can be the best fuel for the future. They knew the effort was not there tonight. Lets see how they bounce back tomorrow night. |

But last year's hot start wasn't against the bottom feeders of last the year before either. We were beating teams that had top records in the beginning last year. After their losses the team has come up big though, so I hope they realize what they gotta do and beat Boston tomorrow night in Boston to show everyone, they are for real this season. |

I'd been hoping that they could score a decisive win in a meaningful game. I'm obviously disappointed - But, I continue to like what I'm seeing out of so many of our players. Many of the passes looked tighter, shorter and better-executed. And I appreciated the continued checking and tenacity. I was angry at Miller's loss of focus - He has such mad skills, when under pressure, but has proven himself to be such a casual idiot at the most inopportune times. He definitely needs to continue to QB, with his defense - some of the screens they provided on Philly's outside shots were maddening. He needs to remind them to get the fuck out of the way. I have to say that I'm really starting to like what Montador is bringing to this team. He seemed very involved. And Hank - I'm feeling some forgiveness. He's really stepping up. And, again, Tyler Myers - He continues to mature. His powerplay goal; A beautiful effort to go to the net. MOAH! This loss was definitely a kick in the pants. Let's hope they can harness the emotions from last night, and use them in a positive way - Working harder. Working smarter against the Bruins; with a greater discipline. This team is showing some resilience - We need tonight to be one of those times when they prove that they can rebound. |

Not glad we lost, but definitely agree we deserved to lose. Uninspired play, not enough hustle or hitting from the top 3 lines, and weak goaltending from Miller. If you luck out a win in a game like that you can develop bad habits, so I'm happy that this suck was not rewarded. |

With that said, whats your take on a need to get there? Time as a unit together? An additional talent need on the team to be added? Maybe just a a good ole dose of learning to concentrate on work ethic, every game? Well, anyways, you know my take on this, additional talent, just an addition or 2 and I think this team is off to the cup. Just an opinion though. |

The team is playing more consistently than last year, right now, and the hope is it continues for the rest of the season. I am cautiously optimistic at what I'm seeing because it can change at the drop of a dime. |

Never, ever glad when they lose. The only thing you learn from losing is a) how to lose or, b) that you really hate losing and never want to do it again. The second lesson doesn't need to be reinforced that much and the first is one I don't want the team learning. |

i am never glad we lose... But maybe it will get em off this tiff that were invincible and we can pass the puck 48 time in the attacking zone shoot once and somehow score 2 goals.. we were WAY to cutesy with the puck last night... throw the damn thing on net.. And Connolly... if they aren't going to hit the net when you pass it to them... Shoot it. |

Losing is never fun. But when you look at the long term benefit, a loss goes much further than a win... especially when dealing with a young egotistical team. All in all, we played a poor game. The end result wasn't earth shattering for playing a poor game. Rebound in Boston tonight, and mark your calendars for the next one against the Flyers. |

On the brighter side... I wanna see Myers deke the shit out of that fucker Chara... chara has a hard shot but not the skating ability that Myers has. |

I'm glad this team has not won the stanley cup in 30+ years. I don't want this team to be too successful too early. losing seasons like that makes them aware that they can be better, and need to be in order to do damage in future years. They're going to be ready for the next decade. Just wait and see. |
