my friend's cousin's dad is the Detriot Red Wings equipment manager and he says that Pavel Datsyuk wants a trade. He says that Buffalo is his number one choice to go. any thoughts? he's a huge assist king that can feed Vanek and he can score too. He's a mini Joe Thornton. his cap hit is 6.7 so were gonna need to trade some talent in return. |

Won't happen. But I'd love Pavel here, he is an amazing player who can deke he shit out of any goalie in the league and can score. He'd be the number one Center we've been missing. |

Normally, I'd discount this stuff and call you an idiot, but I heard from a team mate who's father is a scout for the Red Wings that Datsyuk was actually looking for a trade. I too was told Datsyuk wanted a trade, but no mention of Buffalo. My stepson is a huge Detroit fan and he was upset around new years day. Don't know what teams though, like I said, Buffalo was never mentioned. |

Has there been ANY sort of mention about this that has leaked out to media sources? I consider this complete hearsay that Datsyuk wants out of Detroit.
