After I thought about it, maybe send Weber instead of Gerbe, they need to replace that whole left by Blake, and we have several decent defensive prospects.

Also, if they want to send Setoguchi over, instead of Wrenn and a 3rd I'd be ok with that too

Where did you hear San Jose wants to "blow it up"? Just because they're not re-signing an aging, in decline goaltender and they're letting Marleau possibly walk?

This team still has loads of talent and that includes Joe Thornton and Danny Heatley.....I don't see any reason for them to "blow it up"

SJ is as likely to deal Pavelski as the Sabres are to deal Tyler Myers.

Pavelski is going to be a "core guy" for the Sharks moving forward and that deal is not the type of "offer they can't refuse" that would need to be sent San Jose's way.

SJ would be getting jewed pretty much. They get a 1st rounder at best but lose a PP guy (also goal scorer), get 4 mill in cap from Connolly and Weber isn't very good...
