Apparently Anaheim can't come to terms with James Wisneiwski. If there's a big dose of billy bad ass on the blueline, it's him. I'd love that guy to be a Sabre, but I'm not sure how Buffalo could manage a trade for him and then sign him to around what he wants. He just came off a 1 year 2.75 mil deal and is a RFA, so that sounds like he'll be trying for a 4 mil type of contract.

One of the many players that Florida is willing to deal is Keith Ballard. The guy Buffalo drafted 1st back in 2002 has three years left with a 4.2 mil cap hit. He's shown he was worth being the 11th player selected.

Burke is also interested in both Sharp and Horton, and he's probably dangling Kaberle. That won't work for Chicago, but Florida just might take him. They need scoring forwards more though. If Burke finds some other way to get either player I'll be pissed.

Jay McKee won't be back with Pittsburgh. I'd sign him for cheap (1 mil or less) and trade away Butler or Sekera.

I just hope teams don't bite on Kaberle for a first rounder + a player. I hope they say your asking price is too much. Yes he's a decent d-man but for once I would like to see Burke get burned. Only problem with him if your a team in the same division is when he wants a player he does whatever it takes to acquire that guy.

Wisniewski is also a psychotic loose cannon. I want toughness, not a younger Brendan Witt.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Sabres pick up Colby Armstrong, at a reasonable price. The kid is a goofball, and could bring some much needed energy and enthusiasm to the locker room. I feel like our team needs to learn how to have fun again, ever since Soupy left.

If you ever go on the Atlanta Thrashers website, there are all sorts of funny videos the players do, and Colby is normally right in the middle of them. The only funny video we've had in a while is the Stafford one where he talks about Christmas, or whatever that other holiday was...

However, I read somewhere that he wants upwards of three million. I don't think I'd want to pay him that much...
