I was sitting around thinking today (scary I know) But what about a trade to get Dubinski and Vinny Prospal And we send them back Stafford, Roy, and a 2nd near an even money trade; but it would give us a nice center to play with Vanek, and open up a top line spot for Ennis if we did move Vanek over to the RW where he showed a lot of promise on his hotsteak mid season this year. Prospal could play on 2nd line with Connolly and Pommers, or 3rd line with Nieds and Grier. Plus we get rid of our 2nd round pick so we dont get another junk player at the deadline But seriously, any thoughts on this? |

Prospal is a second-line center at best. Dubinsky may become a second-line center if he pans out. Also, both Rangers players coming here are UFA next summer. No thank you on this deal. |

No thank you on this deal. That was kinda the idea; UFAs to be, with guys like Kassian, Adam, and company waiting in the wings, maybe get a nice roll over on this roster, and free up some more capspace, very strong centerman market next off season anyway. Prospal is more or less a winger these days anyway. |

Derek Roy is a proven commodity who has a better PPG% than Prospal and Dubinsky can't handle big minutes. If I could get Dubinsky for Stafford and a pick, I'd do it. Dubi would be a helluva third line center, but the Sabres already have one (arguably, two) of those. Maybe at the deadline. |

They should just sign Georges Laraque to a one year, 700k 2-way contract. You put him out on the wing for a few shifts and suddenly gonads start dropping. |

Laraque retired and is deputy leader of Canada's Green Party (I'm not making this up). |

Given he is of direct Haitian descent, he spent a ridiculous shit-load of time on the island helping out after the disaster. |

Just knowing that he is in the organization will scare opponents. ESPECIALLY if they are of non-Haitian decent. |
