IMO this is the guy the Sabres HAVE to go after. The guy is unbelievable. A defense with Myers and Weber would almost gurantee us a top 5 spot. It would give us 1/3 of the next Canadian Olympic Defense. If we can land him in the offseason we would have still freed up enough space to sign an impact center or we could just resign Connolly to like half of what he's making right now? Statsny I'd stay away from. I was a big Brad Richards supporter but I've jumped off that band wagon. THe guy hasn't been the same since his injury. And who knows he might not get his game back. Shea Weber is IMO the best player available in this years RFA/UFA pool. |

He's not going anywhere. The Predators have stable ownership and a legitimate budget for possibly the first time in franchise history. They'll spend to keep him. |

No way they'll let him walk away. |

LOL I want Richards. Weber isn't going anywhere, and having two Webers would just be confusing. |

Shea Weber is a cornerstone of the Predators. He's not moving. |

He's working on a 7 year extension with Nashville. Shea isn't going anywhere. |

Weber is the face of the Predators. (He looks better with a bushy long beard, too!) Keep moving. |

Nashville seems like one of those places that players find very hard to leave. |

Nope. It just means people will focus more on the 'ZOMG WE CAN TRADE FOR HIM' angle instead. |
