The Sabres roll into town 7-3 in their last 10. Unfortunately they dropped the ball in Toronto, playing very tired, after playing a rough game with Florida. Ryan Miller was very unlike himself, giving up 2 bad goals.

Buffalo looks to get great play from their Rookie call ups, Nathan Gerbe, and Tyler Ennis, as well as continued success from Derek Roy and Jason Pomminville.

Montreal returns home after playing Philidelphia on Friday night. They are looking for a strong finish to the season to improve their playoff seed. They are 5-3-2 in their last 10 heading into Philly Friday night. And have not been getting the scoring from their top 6, they had hoped for all season. Matthew Barnaby stated that "This team may lack the size to do any considerable damage in the playoffs" And I agree.

(I will finish this type up after MTL plays tonight)

What would you rather have, the sabres win 4/5 and drop the 4-10-10 game to Ottawa, or lose 4 out of 5 and win the 4-10-10 game, thus clinching the division anyways?

I'd rather have them win 4/5 and keep 2nd place in the East and hope that Boston, Montreal or Philly can hold on to 7th so we won't have to play atlanta. mark my words, they will make the playoffs.

I'd rather lock up the division before the Ottawa game, and then see them kick the living shitfuck out of the Senators to send a message that "More of this is waiting, heaven forbid, if we meet in the playoffs."

Rebound back boys, not every game can be a 6-2 or a 7-1 blowout. Kick the Habs around a little bit and get revved up again for the Senators!

I'll have to watch the first half at work but at least I'll get to watch it. Let's go boys, get back in the W column.

If Montreal wins, I won't stop hearing about it for a while. God forbid Montreal goes farther in the playoffs than the Sabres. If so, then it's going to be a long, long several months.

Well I'll get to watch the second and third periods of this game.

Gotta work until 7:30.

Also I would say if Atlanta makes the playoffs they won't be anything but the 8th seed, and will play Washington. Our opponent is going to be the 6th or 7th seed no matter what if we clinch the division.

This game may show what we will be like in the Playoffs.

Ottawa is getting manhandled by the Isles so far. Down 4-0 in the Third. Hopefully the Islanders can finish em off.

Roy with 2 goals, Hecht adds 1

Buffalo 3
Montreal 2

Hopefully they remember to turn the clock on this time. That wasn't shady at all.........

by the way, it looks like our "alternate/future primary" logo is appearing on our playoff gear. Good to see

If the Sabres win tonight, they clinch the division. This game just got a bit bigger.

Oh Snap.

And I'm actually kind of fond of the old slug. Must be because I was just getting into hockey when the Sabres had that magical run to the ECF. I have a feeling I'm gonna be wearing my slug hoodie for years.
