I don't know why I'm still pissed when I see the Sabres left out of the NHL headlines. The Buffalo hate on there is so potent I sometimes feel a shower is needed.

I kind of thought they were the biggest story of the night too, but NHL.com didn't really have anything on the game. Maybe there something to this Sabre snubbing.

I think it's great that the Sabres are only 2 points back of 6th, and they have a game in hand on the Rangers and Canadiens, both.

There were three shut outs tonight and the other two had their own cute headlines with gay..um...I mean clever titles. Our shut out was shoved off to the side blurb links. Out of those three games, ours was the one with the most playoff impact...especially with Carolina losing...but nope. They do this every year. No surprise. It will make the Cup that much sweeter when they have to ball slobber us like they do Pitt or Montreal.

that game went by so fast, my dad and i hopped in the car, and here i am, back in michigan.

few things.

i sat in 310, row 11. in front of some reaaaaally drunk people who yelled everything and anything. and next to 3 really cute girls.

jay, im pretty sure you and i passed each other. twice. i think you thought i might have been eye balling you, i was just trying to figure out if it was you. im pretty sure it was, but i wasnt ballsy enough to guess. at one point i passed you, i coulda swore i heard you say "thats davey." which i quickly thought... not a chance. no one on these boards would call me davey. more on that later though.

beth, pretty sure i saw you walking into the arena and you saw me, and looked really surprised, not sure what to do, which im pretty sure i gave the exact same expression. but i wasnt positive, so like jay, i wasnt gonna chance it.

and of course, i was texting phil, and he was looking for me. well, apparently, i am known as davey, because thats how phil got my attention. that was awesome talking to you phil, and if my dad wasnt such a cranky old fart, i woulda loved to have met up with ya and talked more. but alas, my dad was that cranky old man.. so thats where we are.

That game was a blur for me...great game in the first period, spent the entire second period cuddling with my girl, and hardly watching the game, 3rd period was tense and we were just hoping we could hang on.

Saw Phil briefly, didn't see anybody else really, I mean I live with Beth so I saw her that day; haha.

Other than that it was fun, but definitely not the most exciting game.
