as per wikipedia... the broken stick trick originated when hunters tricked large game by 'breaking' a stick to distract prior to killing the animal..

Also, the Jobing.com Arena DJ has great taste. Not surprised at all that they played Metallica when LaBarbararara took the ice - he's a massive Metallica fan.
