he's not the #3 defensemen on this team. He does this all the freakin time. Watch the Flyers...hard up the ice...transition get the puck up the ice. Watch the Bruins...same thing. We f'n play with ourselves until 2 forecheckers come up ice..

Watch more than one game a month and maybe you'd have a clue what you're talking about.

Yeah I do and yeah he sucks. I mean seriously, I've seen other Defenseman clear the zone all by themselves...Stevie needs help.

I watch a ton of Bruins games and there's a reason that there netminder has a .945 save percentage in addition to him being good. They get the puck out of the zone. Now they could score more to help their cause. But watching the Bruins play defense and watching us...its like why can't we play like that.

http://blogs.thescore.com/nhl/2010/11/2 ... efenceman/

I love shit ass statistics charts where some guy "compares favorable" with guys like Lidstrom and Keith. Seriously...I bet he's got a nice personality and will put on on the first date too. Think about that for a minute...Lidstrom 10 years older and far better no matter what that bloggers little chart says. Would you pay Montidor what Lidstrom's getting?

The only thing you can say is that he make $1.55M a year. So when he makes a bonehead clear without looking where the pucks going I should be able to live with it even when the Sabres are down and can't get hte puck out of their own end. That's the story of the Sabres right there in a nutshell. You got the bargain prom date. Do I hate Montidor...not really its just don't try to sell me on him.

Unless you're going to spell his name right, I'm not taking you seriously.

Yeah, whatever....build that strawman. Don't look at the real argument. BTW...what does "compares favorably" really mean. Sounds like "high motor" doesn't it.

It took me 6 years to spell Kelsay correctly. And why...because who gives a rip about Chris Kelsay..he's not or ever was the future of his position on his team...neither is Steve MontAdor. Happy now.

But oh boy let's hover over the stat generator and see how we can feel better about an player who's alright...must be Sekera and Weber that's alway's effing up.

No, you spoke the truth. The glaring holes at center and right wing and the inability to roll two consistent top scoring lines are the products of Darcy Regier. Until he is gone, we are stuck with these issues.

What will we do with only 1 "top 20" center on the roster? Right there, if I was the owner I would have fired Darcy for a comment like that. I mean if Roy and Connolly are top 20 centers, they're like what 18th and 20th? I mean there are only 30 teams in the league. So what you're saying is that we have a below average top center and a top #2 center.

Well yeah that's kinda how I see it. I have no problem with Roy (even with all the boneheaded plays he makes) being the #2 center. In fact, wasn't Roy an 60 point guy plus on his way up to 80 when we had the guy who just skated circles around us playing ahead of him? The problem is the Darcy thinks Roy's the top line center.

Darcy's comment was like, hey they aren't first pick...but they're second two? Uh, no Darcy...that's not how the math works.

Honestly, if you're a fan of the team and can't even spell the guys name right, why should we take you seriously? It just means you don't watch or pay enough attention to have an opinion on the whole subject matter presented.

And if you don't know how to spell his name right, look it up and stop looking so foolish.

Under the current GM, keep him. Sadly, that center is out for the season. If we get a new GM, develop prospects that can be top 20 centers or acquire another one to complement the one you have.

phpbb, and other forum programs, allows each post to have specific subjects under a single topic.

The Ennis angle was created on his concerning performance tonight.

Good advice here. Poor spelling makes people think your research is just as faulty. The rationale is that if your too lazy to open a dictionary, then the encyclopedia is probably not getting opened either.

Don't you usually have to play really bad at just the right time (the Penguins) or be really lucky and really good at scouting (Detroit) or pay a lot of money (Philly) to get that guy?

Are the vast majority of really good top line centers ever really nurtured or developed? Don't they just sorta arrive off a golden winged chariot? LOL.

I mean even Briere just had to to plunked out of one system and into another which fit his skills better and its 95 points in a healthy year with a good team. It still kills me that we let a player walk who just put up 95 points. I mean who does that..oh we do.

If by "stinked" you mean that the young man tapped your old ladies butt in the back of his 67' Mustang while parked outside your house. Then I am in full concurrence.

Personally, I don't give a fuck. If people get butt hurt over me misspelling someone's name chances are they're a huge douche.

You weren't keeping both Drury and Briere, management was set on Drury but didn't get it done, last minute cheap offer to keep Briere is a slap in the face. Get something done in the year and maybe we would have kept both of those guys at 5 million a piece and Vanek would have walked and we got the 4 picks.

Can you please drop it, it's gonna be 4 years this FA, the team isn't as far back from a good playoff run as you may think it is.
