No, last year when we had a good start on paper, the reality was that most nights we were the crappier team and got a win anyways. This year we're actually earning our wins.

I'm really not a fan of Mair. AT ALL. The team was playing great, and then someone comes back from injury (that had NOTHING to do with the team playing well) and instantly they're back in the line up?

If it ain't broke....Lindy will fuck it up. If it is, Lindy will fix it, just to fuck it up.

I remember many nights feeling very lucky that we came out with 2 points, and a little nervous but this year we have been solid...well until tonight.

That was the case after a few weeks, but for about the first 8-10 games last year the only team that could compete with the Sabres based on game play and not just final scores was the Sharks. They were playing playoff hockey. The boards were freaking out about it at the time, too.

Both teams then went on to compete in the finals, of course...
