One word: Kovalchuk. This argument is closed.

He just got put on that line recently. He is my favorite player and I have been following him every game. He has only been with Kovy half of the season. Sorry about the Max talk haha, but he is my favorite player. :D

He's been Kovalchuk's winger the entire season. Their top line from game four or whatever has been Kovalchuk-Antropov-Afinogenov.

A bit more swagger. A bit more hustle. A bit more shooting...I could re-learn to like Hecht.

Most people around here were glad when he left, not only for the Sabres, but for Max, figuring that a change in scenery, being away from Lindy Ruff basically lol, would do him a lot of good.

Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that much if Afinogenov was just recently put on Kovalchuk's line.

I love how Kovalchuk could do absolutely nothing but score goals when he joined the NHL, how he didn't even know how to play hockey really, but now he's getting credited for stuff like raising other guys' point totals. :D

It's factual, though. :P

And, as much of a Max hater that I was while he was here, I don't hate that he's producing now. He just can't play defense AT ALL.

Connolly has been very aggressive. The most I have seen from him in a looong time.

I am going to sleep like a baby with a smile on my face tonight!
