Well it's a nice rebound game for Vanek because he was pretty invisible last night, and he wasn't moving his feet nearly as good as he is tonight.

I believe in Gerbe's potential to be an impact player. Haven't stated he's god's gift to hockey. But it's pretty easy to see that he's got the tools.


In the big games that we've needed him this season, Vanek hasn't delivered.

He's got talent, and he'll use it to feast on the bottom dwelling teams in this league. But when we needed a big goal against Pittsburgh last night, our 7 million dollar man was nowhere to be found.

Hell, Myers has more game winning goals this season than Vanek does.

Go look at his stats. He got a pay day, and his production has decreased every single season since 06-07.

I'm biased because Vanek gets paid to be a difference maker for this team every night. And he takes far too many off.
