When Yoshi posts the official GDT please feel free to merge, but I am chomping at the bit and want to get started with the posting.

Kaleta will be back, and I am really fired up. First meeting with the Habs since our opening night loss off a fucked up OT deflection off the boards. This is a huge game for Montreal as they would fall a full 8 points behind us with a regulation loss, and we'd still have 3 games in hand.

All those fucked up off season moves don't seem to be panning out for Gainey...hope we pound 'em.

Let's go Sabres! Beating the bloody Habs. It's payback time for those 2 BS goals on opening night.

That's my guess, though I wouldn't mind seeing him switch Grier and Kaleta.

I would like that, too. Vanek-Kennedy-Kaleta would be sick.

I've been waiting for this rematch since the sour taste left in my mouth after Game 1.

Tonight the Image will get doomed.

Can't wait for Gaustad to run Scotty Douchebag Gomez.

Gainey had the chance to turn the Canadiens into contenders again but lets face it despite Camalieri he blew it. They had enough money for guys like Gaborik, Heatley, Sedins, Pronger just to name a few.

Ummm...

1. Gaustad is out for the next two weeks with an injury
2. The game isn't tonight, it's tomorrow night.

Per Sabres.com:

Quote:
The lines at Wednesday’s practice were as follows:

Vanek – Kennedy – Grier
Hecht – Roy – Pominville
MacArthur – Connolly – Stafford
Mair – Ellis – Kaleta

The only player that did not participate in the skate was Paul Gaustad, is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered Nov. 27.

Said Ruff; “He’s going to be weeks. It could be anywhere in that couple weeks [range] to even longer. When he starts skating it will probably be at least a week [until he returns to the lineup]… it’s just going to take time.”

Good news and bad news, I guess. Happy Rivet's injury seems to be getting better faster than expected, though I'm sure he'll sit out at least one more game. Very unhappy to hear that Gaustad would be more than two weeks out...we really need him in the lineup for this stretch.

Not a huge fan of Kaleta on the third line. Don't get me wrong I like him, but he is not always the smartest hockey player (example the penalty he took in the florida game causing them to score 3 goals in a minute). I would much rather see someone with Grier's leadership on the third line. But I like these lines a lot.

Being new to the boards, there are two things I should notify you about regarding how things work around here, Sabresgirl.

1. I am always right.
2. Kaleta can never, ever to be criticized, unless by me, in which you refer to rule #1.

Carry on. ;)

So, is anyone going to bother to switch back and forth from this game to the Bills'? Not I...

Mike Grier is so tough he makes Weebles wobble AND fall down.

I was laughing when I saw that TV Cat on the Canes game day board vs. the Sabres.

Oh and don't forget to Patronize the ETC Pub http://sabresjunkie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11&p=46005#p46005. I believe the rule is, if you're new to the boards you must buy a round...
