Crosby and Miller set for quick rematch

Sidney Crosby became a (bigger) Canadian hero by scoring the gold medal-winning goal against Ryan Miller and Team USA Sunday at Canada Hockey Place. Miller won't have to wait long for a chance to exact at least a small measure of revenge.

Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins resume their NHL season at Mellon Arena Tuesday night -- and the guests are none other than Miller and the Buffalo Sabres.

Crosby started and ended February with big games against Miller. On Feb. 1, he scored 3 goals as the Penguins rallied for a 5-4 victory over the Sabres in their last visit to Pittsburgh. Crosby scored three times in the second period after the Sabres had taken a 3-1 lead.

In fact, Crosby has had good success against Miller during his career. He's scored six times against the Buffalo goaltender in the past two seasons and seven overall -- as well as getting a pair of shootout winners against him, including one in the 2008 Winter Classic.

The Sabres' second game back after the break won't be any easier -- they return to Buffalo for a Wednesday meeting with Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. It will be Ovechkin's first NHL game after his disappointing showing in Vancouver.

The Penguins will welcome home the hero of the Olympics, Evgeni Malkin. When asked about the play everyone is talking about, Malkin had this to say through broken English and swigs of vodka. "I didn't mean to elbow him (Getzlaf) in the face. I thought he was mooning me. It's a little hard to tell the difference." After beating Miller tonight for the Gold medal I think Miller comes back for revenge on crosby. Stellar performance by miller!

why, why do the sabres have to play the pens first....I hope they beat the living snot out of the pens but that friggin crybaby has Millers number. Seriously, Miller will stop him cold 9 out of 10 times. That 1 time is always the game winning goal.

I'm surprised VS didn't have an instant boner and put this game on as it's featured match-up so they could gloat about crysby for another 60 minutes. (Not that they don't already )

Fuck Crosby, I hope he breaks his leg on his first shift during this game, and sits out the rest of this year. I hope Miller stones all of the Penguins shots and I hope we light up MAF to a thrilling but easy win.

My Dad called it yesterday. Crosby is going to win it for Canada in overtime....I hate his little boy face. He looked even more like a little boy because he had the gay ass haircut too!! Winter Classic, Stanley Cup, Gold Medal....FUCK HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
