Buffalo Sabres vs. Montreal Canadiens
Novemeber 27, 2010
7:00 P.M. @ the Bell Centre

Sabres
9-12-3
Away 5-4-2

Habs
14-8-1
Home 8-4-1

Montreal is ranked 1st in the Northeast division and 3rd in the East, while Buffalo is 4th in the division and 11th in the East. As far as point percentage, which is the ratio between the number of games played and points earned, Montreal is ranked 7th in the NHL, while Buffalo is 26th.

However, in the last 10 games, Buffalo has earned one more point than the Habs, going 6-3-1, while Montreal has gone 6-4-0. So the Habs may not be as sharp at the moment as they have been earlier this season.

Don't look for a lot of successful PP's, as Miller will be playing opposite Price...and Montreal is 21st on the PP, while Buffalo is 25th. Also, Montreal is only one-tenth of a percentage point away from equaling the Pens for 1st place in the PK, while Buffalo sits in 21st place.

If you've been waiting for another good test of the Sabres, this is it. Montreal is #1 in the division and #3 in the East.

Physical play and speed.

I love the fact that the Sabres can bruise teams. It's been awhile since we've had a real mean streak in our team.

I hate to forecast a loss, but whenever we do a MNG, it never goes well for the on-ice product. Consider yourselves warned.

Having Weber and McCormick on the team helps a lot. Myers playing more physical is a boon, too. It takes the pressure off of Goose and Kaleta to be bastards at all times. Unfortunately, I think Goose has spent too much time not being a bastard this season.

Thanks PP, I appreciate you covering for me. I fell asleep early last night (right after the game because I was loaded) and with company leaving this morning I totally forgot to post what I had already in my drafts.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Awwwwwwwwwww shucks, don't mention it.

If it was March, I'm sure at least 6 others would've beat me to it.

I'm never too stoked about back-to-back games, but hopefully the Sabres will still have a little energy off of the win last night against the Leafs. Montreal played last night too so no excuses if the Canadiens look like they have fresher legs than the Sabres.

WTF would you play Miller back to back, he needs time to rest and repair? does Lindy want him out for a longer stretch?
