The sixth game of the seven game road trip takes us to Boston. Tea party, anyone? |

A win tomorrow would be huge in a potential preview of a repeat post season matchup. |

Rags have to lose in regs tonight before the Sabres can think about moving into 7th tomorrow. Also, fuck the Bruins. I hope McCormick is on the ice when Chara pulls some shit and breaks his face. And Vanek ought to step on Boychuk's ankle. And i hope Recchi gets shoved onto Thomas, injuring both of them. I get so stupid irrationally angry over Bruins games. Fuck em up. |

I've got my Lydman jersey on. I don't believe in superstitions, but it makes me feel better as I root for the Ducks vs the Rags |

Rags minutes away from losing 5-2 to the Ducks. Sabres yet again have a chance to move into 7th. |

Here's a little "scouting" report from me to you, despite knowing that most of you are far more familiar with this team than I am. I've watched this team play about a 1/2 dozen times this season, and if I had to describe them in a word it would be, "clutch". They find a way to get a timely goal or make a key save when it's most critical. Statistically this team is really balanced. They are one of only 5 teams--in this new "high scoring" era of hockey--that averages over 3 goals a game. They have 10 different players with 10 or more goals, and 5 players with 40 or more points. Krejci and Bergeron are the primary trouble makers with the puck. Nothing will help the Sabres chances of winning, more than keeping the puck away from those two players as much as possible. It's remarkable that they are scoring so much when you consider the fact that Savard is battling brain trauma and Wheeler is battling...suck..trauma.. Lucic is having a career year, and the Sabres will have to deal with him around their net. I like the idea of fighting him although I don't envy the man who does so. Gausted and McCormick, feel free to dance with that asshole and take him off the ice as much as possible. They are average on special teams play but Iron Mike Recchi and Ryder are potent snipers on the power play. Chara is a freak, super talented and equally tough, but I think Ennis has become quite keen on drawing calls against bigger defenders. They key is to keep the legs pumping, sooner or later Chara will get caught obstructing with his free hand. Cause he's a big fat stupid jerk. Timmah is actually pretty entertaining to watch, he hams it up for the camera sometimes, even when it's a routine save. But all the goalies seem unbeatable to me, so just keep crashing the net and get some tips. That's one thing you don't see a lot of from the Sabres, deflection goals. |

But Chara's a good guy he does no wrong. He's the model citizen in the NHL. I want McCormick to fucking break this piece of shit. Chara is the biggest goon in the NHL and gets away with it because he does charity work with poor kids in Africa. I cannot wait to see Ennis burn by him tonight. In case you cannot tell, I get irrationally mad as well. |
