Few things for you guys who said they would trade our entire roster for Ovie. The guy is Derek Roy 8.0.

Ovie's game is fucking pathetic. He plays absolutely no defense at all. I could count 8-10 times where he was parked at the blue line waiting for the outlet pass so he can be the breakaway hero. Problem with his cherry picking is that it basically creates a powerplay for the opposition every time he does this. Carolina outplayed and outshot the Caps and did not deserve the victory. That being said, Vokoun is a stud.
He is fun to watch but there is a reason they falter in the first round of the playoffs on a regular basis.

Caps play like bigger pussies then we do. Caps fans are also incredibly annoying and have the collective hockey intelligence of a toddler.

Although some have already written off the team/season, this week will determine just how many holes there are in the hope tank. Salvageable with some patches riveted into place, or rip the bastard off and install a new one? What better way to start off the diagnostic scan than against the big red machine that management holds as the model franchise? Something tells me this is going to be a classic case of Teacher vs. Student. I hope I'm wrong..

I wouldn't trade my whole team for him, maybe half if it didn't include Enroth, Vanek, Gerbe and Myers

Every bad trait that Roy has Ovie has x10. Literally parks his ass at the blueline standing completely still. He watches as the opposition rifles shot after shot at his keeper. Ovie scores more that is undeniable. We would be so pissed if he was wearing a Sabres uni, I can gaurentee that. The guy is a selfish turd.

I think anyone who would take Ovechkin on this team is crazy. The last thing this roster needs is another underachieving winger. We need centers. Badly. And we need guys that compete at high levels on a consistent basis. Ovi, while talented, doesn't fit either of those roles.
