Vanek expected to return in this one as the Sabres face a 'Canes team missing their #1 goalie in Cam Ward (6-8 weeks, MCL sprain).
Pretty basic plan for this one; just win.

So why in the hell is Brennan in over Pardy? I know it's not a correlation, but when Pardy was recalled, we won three straight and lost in a shootout. Funny, we are 4-0-1 with Pardy in the lineup... |
