SENATORS (13-8-6) at SABRES (10-14-3) TV: SNET-E, TVA, MSG-B Last 10: Ottawa 4-2-4; Buffalo 4-4-2 With Grigs and Brennan gone, surely Leino will step up and save the struggling Sabres season. Right? Right? /meh Have I mentioned I hate afternoon games?

I haven't watched Clerks in fucking AGES! Might have to dig that shit out tonight. I'm with you, man; can't stand afternoon games. It leaves a void for the rest of the day and if we lose, maybe it's just me, but it sticks with me for the rest of the day. I know, looking at how this team has been basically a puddle of Vagisil this season, it shouldn't really be any kind of a shock if they lose, but it still irks me. Leino back in, possibly Ennis as well; in the past, Darcy has said that getting guys back from the I.R. is basically like making a trade so let's see if his assumption is correct in this case. With that thinking, I'm expecting a blowout. Notice I didn't specify for which team? On that note, looks like break time is over; time to go back to jersey work. I'll also add that if I didn't have one before, with this latest project, I have developed a pretty thick hate for the Oilers.. |

I can't be expected to start drinking beer in the morning and get anything done the rest of the day. I'm looking at my todo list and it's got fixing the garbage disposal on it. I shouldn't do that drunk now should I NHL schedule guy? |

I don't know why but the Sabres suck the most in 2nd periods. I wonder what the fuck they are doing in the locker room after the 1st period. |

Huge blocks at the end of this one (Ennis/Weber/Regehr) but one thing I noticed during this cluster fuck; when the Sabres get control of the puck in their own zone and start moving it out, every Ottawa player was busting their ass to get back into their own end. Transition play back into the Sabres end; Buffalo stopped skating at the center ice line and coasted in with the exception of the d-men. When it's coming back into your end, I don't care if your god damn leg is broke, you move your feet to get back. How they can go from playing the best period of this season to pitching turds in the final 2, is the bi-product of more than just coaching. On that note; ![]() I don't even want to see the same popcorn vendors in the arena. Hell, I don't even want to see the same arena at this point. |

You'd rather keep Myers and Ott before Ennis? |
