So how many times has Grigorenko been scratched this season? The guy has to have a serious lack of "perspective" The moves of Rolston confuse me. The season is done anyway, why bench all the rookies? Myers and Stafford could definitely use some perspective. |

The Sabres for whatever reason have a stiffy for benching rookies, like it's going to help them to watch a shit ton of games... Once is okay, to get used to the NHL and have a day off, but this is ridiculous. And yeah, Stafford and Myers need benchings, too. |

Funny thing, Stafford played really well last night. And didn't see much wrong with Myers game either. They both played fine in this game. |

How was he responsible for Etem's second goal when 10, 23, 21, 8, 3 were on the ice? Etem's first goal you had three Sabres standing around watching the Ducks skate around. |

You're right. I was thinking of Vatanen's goal, where Hodgson just nonchalanty skates into the corner, leaving Vatanen wide open in the slot. On Etem's first goal, Hodgson has to figure out a way to tie him up or take the body, do something. You accurately describe that as Sabres just standing around, but Hodgson has to make a play on it somehow. |
