Ok, I know Petey ain't with us anymore, but I picked this up from nhl auctions. Complete with certificate of authenticity! Road (white) Size 56, Set 1 (1 of 2) from 2008-2009 season! And I got it for $150 bucks! (Shipping incl.)

Hopefully the spirit of this jersey will carry through into tonights game against the Sens and make Ruutu crap himself! :lol:

I'll post pics later if anyone wants to see it, or if anyone cares for that matter :P

Sorry folks, I didn't get around to snapping some pics of this sweater until today and was running late for work. I'll upload'em tonight!

I wish it were game worn, but game issued is still frickin awesome! Mainly because, it came from the Sabres directly!

Hope there will be more on the block soon!

Ok folks,

Here's the goods. A couple snap shots of my game issued Peters jersey from last season. Yeah yeah, it's a slug-a-roo, and Petey ain't with us anymore, but it doesn't get any more authentic than this. Unless of course it was game worn, :P

Anyway, for anyone who wanted to see this gem, here ya go. Side note, I emailed the guy heading up the auction and told him how impressed I was with this sweater and the quick turn around time. I also asked him if there were more going up on the block anytime soon and he said sometime in the new year they should be getting a new batch. Really all depends on what is made available to them from the trainers to put up for auction. So far this year, they've auctioned off a set of the (then) new 3rd jerseys from last season and this white set. I'm assuming the blue slugs will be next. Just incase anyone may be interested.

Very nice. I have something similar. I have a Derrick Dockery Buffalo Bills Authentic game worn Jersey... but all the same, he isnt with the team either :P
