Found this at Icethetics.

Reebok lists the Sabres' road sweater as TBD, but it will most likely be a white version of the current alternates. I also understand they'll be adding an entirely new third jersey, but I'm told it may be only for the 40th anniversary season.

It will be royal blue with BUFFALO in a white script across the front, containing the vintage logo with the player's number underneath. The concept here to the right is my own rough rendering of the description I've been given. I've added the traditional striping and colors.

Exactly as Seanothan27 described to us a month ago.

Could be better, could be worse. I like the use of the crest below the wordmark.

I want a traditional gold uni, goddammit.

As long as our primary jerseys is the traditional logo, then I don't think I'll care much about what our third jersey looks like.

It would grow on me as well. But, i think they could do a much better job with it. Honestly, i was hoping for something like this----

Okay. Lets think about this for a minute. They have an opportunity to do something really unique with the third jersey, and they're going to go with a high school intramural sports design.

they could have done better. but could have done worse as well. im not torn up about it, i just wish they brought back the 96-2006 logo back in current colours.

you ever see the mockups for that logo in blue and gold? its fucking AWESOME.

i like the traditional logo, but i feel its a little boring. a modern spin to it could go a long ways.

one thing i want, but wont get, is a non traditional template as far as numbers and lettering go. the sabres use kinda funky numbering and lettering font. i wouldnt mind something thats not the normal block and shit.
