So here's the story... at work a friend of mine (who is from outta town) started to get into hockey a little bit.. now understand he's one of those will do anything for a laugh kinda guys.. So one day we are talking about which Sabres jerseys we wanted to get.. and he asks "what is the worst possible jersey i could buy and wear at the arena?" Basically what team/player do buffalo fans hate the most, to the point where they would heckle you mercilessly. I'll give you our best answer.. see it you can beat it...

Ray Emery, Philadelphia's 3rd Jersey (which i believe is the same style they were wearing in 75)

Dude on Craigslist is trying to sell a Canes jersey with the Cup patch on it that his buddy bought for him as a mean joke. That's harsh.

Maybe right after our FA exodus, a Drury Rangers jersey or Briere Flyers jersey. I don't think it would upset people that much now though.

I would be more annoyed seeing a Carcillo Flyers 3rd than an Emery.

i dunno why, i just always liked the golden brett. granted, yes. that part of history SUCKED. but he just put the puck in the net, he did his job. it was the refs and officials job to uphold the rule.
