Post subject:  Bulldog just said Sabres will where a gold 3rd next year
Slipped toward the end of his conversation with Rob Ray. Not sure how confirmed this is, but he said it factually and Razor never corrected it. Personally, I hope it's true because the Boston gold classics are among my all time favorite uniforms.

The classic Boston gold uniform is right up there with the vintage white Sabres and late-model silver Whalers uniforms as true timeless classic sweaters. If this is true, I'll probably freak out! And then I'll blow another $180 on a jersey :D

If they change the logo to the old vintage then having a gold 3rd would be cool. If we get another shitty logo from the bowels of some high artist then I would want to keep the third looking more like the thros back.

If they try any shit with a slug logo; or anything of that ilk, it's time to go and string up Lawrence Quinn. He's lucky we haven't already done that to him for that fecal smear slug he unleashed on us a couple years back...... :evil:

I'm thinking they know the classic/updated classic logo is the only acceptable one.

Woz, your redesign with the socks looking more like the socks the team originally wore made a great uniform even better! They oughta look into hiring you to tell Cravotta how much of an idiot he is!
