Sorry if it's already here gang,

Kind of a rough go for Theo, but he did give it a decent go and he was pretty productive in the preseason.

Maybe someone else picks him up?

yes plz. id love to see him fit in if someone gets hurt on the sabres. but with some of the youth ready for the big time, and other log jams created by mediocre players, wont happen.

Doubt he'll be picked up at this point. Most teams are pretty set on the top two lines by now, and will not be looking towards Fleury.

As I said a couple weeks ago:

Post subject: Re: He's Baaaa-aaack - Theo Fleury Reinstated By NHL.Posted: Sat Sep 12, 2009 5:00 pm

I hope, primarily for Theo, that he has his life under control; that is his most important battle. If he can beat the odds, and even play a little bit still, it will be an amazing story.

Odds are clearly against him; even though he has beaten the odds before....

Didn't he just tear it up in preseason? I would have loved to have seen him given another chance. Poor Theo :(

maybe buffalo could sign him to a two way deal... ya know, to send him down and teach the kids in portland a thing or two. theo has been around and hes learned from past mistakes... maybe he could get the kids off on a good first step... pipe dream, mike.

sucks for theo...i dunno...i didn't get to see him in the preseason....but maybe the flames are stocked at forward ? unlike buffalo...it wouldn't surprise me though if he could make the 3rd line here...heck, maybe the second line...we're not stocked with scorers.....
i like the fire in that little animal...2 way contract might be a good idea

Well they have 14 players with one way contracts so he really had to earn his way on that team.

that's what the article said.

Oh and what did he do 6 years ago to get him suspended by the league?

6 years ago I wasn't huge into hockey and it's players Ice. I honestly really got into it during the 05-06 season and afterwards since we had a team that actually was winning, plus I was abit older and could understand the game better.

Not dissin' ya.

Just makin' a funny - Theo was in the news, non-stop for the douchiness and jerkitude he displayed, week after week.

He was a real problem child; made Avery look like a choirboy.
