any thoughts on kaberle coming in from toronto? he would fit... i think... but im guessing burke would want an arm and a leg for him...

Good for Kesler, he deserved a long term contract. He had been playing very well this year.

Burke will want at least a first round pick. he lost two when he got kessel. he'll be looking to replace them. and i honestly don't think ours will be low enough for his liking.

As to kesler we could always trade for him now. Not saying we will, but impossible the task is not. It is impossible to go for a bidding war at the current moment, but not impossible to obtain kessel.

I'm not in on the Kaberle bandwagon. Myers will be able to do exactly what Kaberle does in two years or less, plus much much more.

No sense in wasting money on an old guy like him. Lets get after some offensive talent this offseason.

kesler plays a goose type game (maybe slightly less physicality) but with ten times the offensive upside. if we got kesler, id assume goose would be long gone. and i love goose, but compared to kesler, hes a chump!
