Two(out of 5) ex-Sabres make the NHL "NOT" list . Dan Paille and Ales Kotalik have combined for 0 points over the last 19 games. This must put a smile on DR's face fishow. Does either guy still have any fans on here?

What in the world Calgary saw in him is beyond me.....

I'm sure Darcy is still kicking himself over choosing to sign Kotalik instead of Dumont. Whoops.
Yeah, Paille really dropped off after his 19 goal year or whatever it was. Too bad.

In my eyes, i'd always take a player over a pick, UNLESS it is a lazy player like Kotalik or macarthur, and you really are trying to get rid of dead weight.

I know we have made some late round gems, like Miller, but most of our picks go towards players that will never breath Western Hemisphere air.

I know Paille is having an off year, it happens, but he still is an upgrade on the fourth line over some of our current players. He is a well above average defensive player, but his skillsets may have been rushed and didn't translate well to the NHL, yet...

Solid dude. Good charity worker. Didn't act like the world owed him anything and was just an all around good guy.

The fact he is having a shithole of the last 2 seasons doesn't change my total view of him.

The best of luck to him.

As for Kotalik, mr..."dump it in with 5 seconds left in the 2nd, down by 2"

Good riddance.

Paille has gotten an opportunity via injury and trade. He didn't do enough with it. In fact, he's sucked supreme lately. Looks like we sold dogs for what we could get. Gotta give the DR his props.
