Lee Stempniak is on a ridiculous tear with the Yotes right now - 12 goals in 12 games so far. How in the name of heaven did he get moved for less than Clarke MacArthur? The Leafs are talent-killers.

Totally tooting my own horn here, but I really wanted Stempniak, especially for the ridiculously low price he went for.

Flash in the pan. His 32.43 shooting percentage is proof of that. Stempniak is undoubtedly hot right now, but make no mistake - he will come crashing back down to earth.

I think they are guaranteed one more year in Phoenix if I recall correctly.

I heard someone put forth money to keep them there for at least one more year or something in one of the articles revolving the talks about buyers.
