Hmmm....you seem to be forgetting that fight led to a HUGE momentum swing. Pittsburgh was down 3-0 came back to win the game, the series and eventually the Stanley Cup. I'd get owned to be able to stake that claim.

The subplot to that fight is kind of interesting. Talbot and Carcillo have known each other since their AHL days years ago when they were teammates. Talbot eluded to being scared of Carcillo. The Flyers took full control of that game ever since Talbot's mind fart at the blue line that gave them the go ahead goal. So, his guilt/pride overcame his fear and he did something, anything to try and redeem himself. Everybody knew he was going to get his ass beat, but the Penguins Malkin liked seeing his best friend showing the passion and the last thing you want to do is fire up Malkin. Because nobody is better at hockey when he is fired up. He took over the rest of that series starting on the next shift.
I can't help but wonder if Talbot knew that would get Malkin going.
