"Center Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes and defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings were chosen as captains Tuesday for the 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover."

I'm kinda glad, more like really glad, Crosby isn't a captain or Ovechkin. And It seems right that Staal was chosen to be a captain since the game is in Raleigh.

Lidstrom is obviously an easy choice to make also.
