uh... yeah. it was a done deal. talks stalled momentarily when hartford nearly landed the patriots as well. but the arena was a go, but he wasnt going to be reimbursed some money. the whole thing was a go. karmonos is a crook.

and every team would move if they didnt get a new arena. its vital to get a new arena. if quebec got a new arena, they would still be the nords. same with the jets.

Well it was done, but he didn't want to pay for it from his pocket since the city or whatever didn't want to raise taxes for it to be built also. So he moved and he got a good arena, and the State Basketball team got a great facility also.

he tried to move the team to detroit. carolina was just a backup plan. and it should have never happened.

he may have gotten a new arena (that a college basketball team really got going) but it doesnt mean it was a good move and good for hockey. i will never look at them on an even keel with real hockey teams in real hockey cities. their fans are terrible.

Well being to an area once does not give any credibility to anything.

And ETC, don't judge a book by it's cover, unless you've actually been to an area more than once, you should not have any judgment to it, because your experience could be bad once, but the other 5 times or so you might go it's might be great.

Exactly, good parts and bad parts about everywhere.

In Raleigh being straight downtown near the southern part of the city sucks and isn't very pretty, but being in North Raleigh is where all the rich people are so it's very nice.
