I know that, but I don't think they're one of the premiere fanbases in the NHL, especially when hockey plays second fiddle at best in Boston to the Red Sox. I like Bruins fans, talk Bruins hockey with the commissioner of my inline league all the time, I just hate their team. *Shrug* Some of it's probably jealousy since the closest thing we have to this is Sabretooth's recycling commercials.

Plus Tampa Bay has sold a higher percentage of seats than Boston since the lockout but that might be splitting hairs.

The Bruins only play 'second fiddle' to the Red Sox for the couple months of the year that they overlap. This year, with the Sox bad start and the Bruins success, they're the main topic of conversation up there right now.

The Bruins are just as ingrained into the sports culture of Boston as the Red Sox are.

I can't believe the Bruins didn't just, oh I don't know, mute their phones? Who cares if the opposing team's fans complained about it? What can they do about it other than say "Hey, I'm a fan!"...?
