I don't think they are at all. I have watched a few of there games and they constantly get pushed around like crazy by physical teams. To me they will be lucky to stay where they are right now. I am saying another 9-12 place finish this year

they are so much better then the teams that barely missed the playoffs. more scoring, better defense, better goaltending.... and now they actually have decent prospects. im thinking 6-8th place in the east, if they stay healthy.

I doubt the leafs make the playoffs. They do however have an improved team. Kessel scorring the way he is right alone makes them better but there are to many teams that are better than the Leafs that are at the bottom of the pile IMO come December-January Leafs will be fighting for that 8th and final spot but won't get it.

i dont hate the leafs. i want them in the playoffs. makes the "rivalry" more interesting. plus i like schenn and reimer.
