I feel most bad for Mr Wong, he has tried pretty dam hard to do the right thing, and continually been fucked in the ass for his good intentions!!!

Good intentions be damned - Wang's been quoted as saying he doesn't want to own the Islanders and regrets ever buying them. Granted, he regrets it because of all of his good intentions, but you NEVER say that as the owner of a sports team.

Proof is in the pudding right here

I don't blame him one bit - they have completely disemboweled his efforts at resurrecting the team and the area of the coliseum - even Mr Wong only needs so much of a tax write off!!

I honestly think he has tried hard to bring some prosperity back to the area, and some repectability back to the hockey team. Of course he should have hired me for a consultant!! ;) ;)

I edited my post, dude, so that my original point falls in line with yours (as I actually agree with you)

I agreed with you before the edit Phil, I just feel the guy has tried hard to do the right thing on many levels, and has reached the point where he is saying "don't piss down my leg, and tell me it's raining"!!

As the Canalside project moves forward slowly, I feel bad for Islanders fans who wanted The Lighthouse Project to happen. That shit coulda revitalized the island.
