DUDE! That's Eddie Gilbert!!!

He played for the Hamilton Red Wings (was a local boy, back in the early '70's) - One of their final seasons (perhaps their last in the OHA) in existence. I think he may have been their last NHL draft pick.

I have a photograph with him, taken for some kind of Scotiabank Kid's Savings promo I won - And his autograph!!

Sonofabitch!!

Eddie Gilbert it is!!! Good rookie season with the Scouts; shit after that!!

Not to be confused with "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gibert.......

I was at the Sens/Panthers game a week or so ago at the Metro Centre, with barely any big names in the lineup, there was still about 8000 at the game. Decent showing considering the biggest names were Chris Neil, Nathan Horton N co.

Halifax would be a good idea but I doubt teams like San Jose want to travel that far to play.

As a younger man who watched wrestling, I was a big Sting and Rick Steiner fan. The Dog-Faced Gremlin persona was a fun one, and a fan favorite for the WCW crowd.

In 1990 there were WCW television tapings held in Canton Ohio. The guys in the picture were all on the card. I was sitting front row with a couple of my buddies, so we are on Camera a fair amount of the time. Eddie and Rick are no taller than I am; but Rick was tree trunk like thick......

I have a coworker who is trying to copy the VHS Tapes on to DVD for me....
