The fact the Duck's commentators even suspected Seabrook was selling that is the dumbest thing I've heard. Those too are such douche bags and make Jack Edwards seem balanced.

Jack Edwards is still a joke though

I am not this hit bad, it is but where the fuck is the consistency? Any star would does this and get noting but because Wisniewski is a repeat offender he gets 8? COLON CAMPBELL WAKE UP AND WAKE UP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :snooty: The NHL is starting to become a joke of a league.

I'm gonna defend this BECAUSE of the severity. If Wiz got his stick up(couldn't tell from the video, but I saw no need for him to use lumber, he had velocity), then shame on him(game or two). He came into the zone just fucking flying(not a bad thing, when Myers does it we love it). He certainly glided before he laid the hit(no charging). He also hit the man straight on. While the hit may have seemed late as hell, it happens faster than you think. If you'll notice on the video, just before he's hit, Seabrook "appears" to be looking to play that puck. Maybe that's all Wiz saw, and put on the hurt. Sometimes this is a tough ass game. Period.

Flame away.
Just watched further into the video. Any elbow/stick was incidental, but he certainly had intent. 8 games is just too many though, as the play was certainly close. The guy may have actually thought Seabrook was playing that puck. 1, 2 or 3 at most. Liking that he learned from Pronger to waste guys that waste your teammate(fairly of course).

The only real bad thing was Seabrook just let the puck go. I agree that 8 games is too much, he should have gotten maybe 2 at the most but he has a history of being a cheap shot artist and apparently if you are not a superstar in this league (Ovechkin) you will suffer the consequences.

What happened to the game where if you got hit you could just get up and keep playing without anybody overreacting and going in hitman mode.

Miss those days

Oh I agree completely. He is the only commentator I've heard release an evil cackle on air.

If Miller and Myers were playing like they did last year, we'd probably be over 500 right now.

If I had decided to jerk off instead, I probably wouldn't be paying child support...
