Uh, Salo is the only one they lost last night. Shane O'Brien came back. (yes, I know they have more than them missing)

O'Brien takes a lot of dumb penalties Alberts is pretty much useless. Mitchell is also a huge loss for them

Good. Christ.

Edit: It's now been revealed that Sami Salo has not suffered a ruptured testicle

I just heard on fan 590 out of Toronto that he does have a ruptured testicle.

Yeah no big deal, I have read different stuff about his injury all over the internet today. I could not imagine have a ruptured testicle, it makes me quiver.

lame.

Suck it up and rub some dirt in it and get bak out there.

We should start criticizing his commitment to hockey now, he busted a nut and hobbled off and went to a hospital and didn't play, that is not being committed to his team mates.

Sarcasm?

Yea, I had just read about the Myron Rolle thread and thought it was fitting.

Was he wearing a cup? I've taken a baseball and a street hockey ball to the nuts. The baseball didn't phase me but it didn't hit square. The street ball hit square and hurt but nothing major.

street hockey balls aren't hard enough to really cause damage. i took a grounder to the nuts in senior league and it shattered my cup. bruised around the groin for a week.

I don't think I'd want to take an ice hockey puck to the nuts. I've got hit with a mild slapshot in just the foot, and it hurt like hell for 10 or so minutes. And it is made of a hard nylon and seems more protected then a cup. But then again, the hockey pants have a foam pad in front of the groin area too.

Does it make you uncomfortable powerplayer?

You're not secure enough in your sexuality then.

Salo said in an interview when asked what his injury was and if it was his groin:

"The General was fine but the Battalion was down".

The entire team looked bad, especially in the second period.

The Blackhawks just shut them down that period and swarmed.
