and i dont think he was selfish either. know how everyone accuses russians of showing no emotion and being robotic? not max. he always had that grin on his face.

i wish people here, and many of you are, were more gracious to him, cause he tried hard and he had fun. and its not like he sucked here, he just had one bad season really.

Max had some bright moments, but his fantastic skill never synced up with his brain. If someone could've re-wired his brain to work with his legs and hands, he'd have been a terror (in a good way).

Surprised he turned down Atlanta since he seemed to rediscover himself. I'd love to see him in Washington but if he goes to the K, that's one less former player we have to worry about burning us.

Yup, Max was one of the biggest mysteries and let downs I've had as a fan. I'd go from loving him, to being confused, to being fed up....back to confused....loving him...confused...thinking he should be benched...having reservations...kinda liking him again....WTF?

I hope he stays in the NHL... Maybe on a west coast team, where we will only play him once or twice a year... But at least I could still follow him there.

Always loved Max. He could be an idiot sometimes, but no one else could get the fans as excited as he could by just skating through the neutral zone.

I liked saying his named more than anything.
