Tampa has three unanswered to take a 3-2 lead in the third.

Doobie just tied it with 4 minutes to go. This is a pretty good game. I don't mind if this one goes to OT since the Rangers are a lock for the playoffs.

damn Rangers giving up their lead. Now Tampa remains tied with us. But at least the Caps got their asses kicked. That makes me happy.

in case we wanted to get ambitious, good things happened today for the sabres

Isles 3 Bruins 2, which helps us in the hunt for the divison title.

Come on now...Isles are a bigger threat in reality.

Why are the Habs and Shitticanes not being awesome tonight and kicking ass?

Common Hockey gods! Let the Leafs fall and the Bolts get grounded!

for some reason, whoever the Bolts are playing feel the need to shit the bed and let them come back and win in OT. 2 nights in a row...grr. Sabres gotta pull this one out. Just gotta keep winning our games and getting our points.

So Washington plays tomorrow against Philly, so we're unfortunately all going to be Flyers fans tomorrow...but let's really hope for a Caps loss because then.....Monday is the big day...
If Washington loses tomorrow, and we win Monday, we'd be at 70 points...which would tie us with the Jets, but we'd have a game in hand so.......yea. We'd be in freaking 8th place in the East. Soooo Close. Keep winning boy(e)s!

and the rags have helped up by beating the ruins today. sure, the division is a pipe cream, but so were the playoffs a few weeks ago

also, let us all cheer for the panthers as they take on the senators.

and Washington loses! Thus opening the door a little further for the Sabres and making tomorrows game that much more important.

Boston is playing Toronto, so we're rooting for the Bruins. *currently tied 3-3 in the 2nd

Carolina is against Caps, rooting for Carolina *currently tied 2-2 in the 2nd

The Ottawa and Tampa game, rooting could technically be either way because Ottawa is still catchable but they're up 3-0 right now so I'll hope they stick with it and get it done in regulation to beat Tampa.

Tampa apparently also lost their goaltender Garon to injury at the very beginning of the game which is a tough break for them if it's long term because he has been solid for them lately. That game is at 3-2 now. Boston upped their lead to 5-3 and Carolina/Caps still tied at 2.

Boston took care of the Leafs in regulation. Carolina had the lead on Washington but once again gave up a late goal to send the game to OT. They won it, but still gave the Caps a point. Ottawa holds a 5-3 lead on Tampa right now in the 3rd so fingers crossed.

and Ottawa finished off the Bolts. So not a horrible night as far as out of town games go. We win tomorrow we're 2 points out again, and Winnipeg will be playing Vancouver in Vancouver on Thursday, and we'll be playing Boston.

My minor gripe at the moment it seems so many teams are playing back to backs now or at least every other day and Winnipeg keeps getting consecutive days off. Not cool. Not cool
