Don't want to say I told you so,but.......

With Ice Edge pulling out, they're as good as gone in the desert. I'm not even sure the 'one more year' works out.

I feel bad for fans of hockey who live in the Phoenix area, meaning both home-grown fans and expatriated fans from other cities, but only good can come from going home to Winnipeg.

Tom Harrington of CBC has tweeted the NHL already has a schedule for 2010-2011 in place that has Winnipeg replacing Phoenix, just in case. Hmm...

The Sabres are in the middle of everything! Ranking, draft, and attendance!

Reports are coming in that have the Avalanche moving to the Pacific Division if the Coyotes return to Winnipeg and take up residence in the Northwest Division. That would then make Winnipeg divisional rivals with Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Minnesota.

If they come home to Winnipeg, you have to make the trip to Buffalo for their first game at the Sabres!

Sounds cool. Now if we can get a team in Wisconsin I would be happy.

You'd think a team would do well in Wisconsin.

Book it, but I expect the same in return. I don't want to be the ONLY one at MTS Center wearing a Sabres jersey

I was telling CV earlier that if it happened, I'd book a trip to Winnipeg to see the first Sabres at Jets game. I also said, and I firmly believe this, that I'd get caught right up in the emotion and pretty much cheer everything.

Just wear white and you'll blend in fine  After the game we'll go and get lit up, there are some good places around...
