Well, just when I thought I couldn't be any more pissed off than after the bs "hand pass" call on C. Perry, guess what. Hossa kicks the puck(which took 5 minutes for the versuz fucktard to even notice), and it skirts the line, but never goes all the way across. Toronto takes 10 minutes to come back with the wrong call. Holy shit is this league ever a sham. It just boggles my mind that they will make calls that every living human being knows is wrong. Fuck the NHL!

SHAM WOW!

If you missed this, you really should watch the highlights(?) later. If they continue making calls like this into the playoffs, it will be the night of broken glass at my house.

If you REALLY want a laugh, go over to hf boards, and see how many supposed knowledgeable hockey posters are probably calling it a "good goal". Haha.

I saw that goal. I was shocked when they called it a goal.

Yeah, that was ridiculous. Guess the league has to help out their favorite teams...gotta have that Chicago market in the playoffs!

Towes wins it...serious horseshit. Hossa's goal was a gift from the refs.

"Machine" is an understatement. I would not want to be the team facing them in round 1. I smell an upset

The guy I'm going against for the championship in my fantasy league has Getzlaf and Perry. Tonight has seriously cut into my lead.

Ok, this guy has Hossa's stick "clipping"(?) the puck?

http://www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2010021197

Now you tell me if you saw his stick "clipping" the puck. If his stick made even the tiniest of contact, it goes over the line easily.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWbQcI42_iM

Now if you were a Stars fan who spent over 10k on 2 season tickets are you a little ticked(and should you be)?

The announcers need to go hunting with Dick Cheney. -"we were so messmerized by the puck..."

There's no way Hossa touched that puck with his stick. He wacked at it so hard that if he did hit the puck, it would have gone somewhere beside exactly straight across the line in the direction it was already moving, probably into the back of the net at 60 mph. Hossa cranked the post with his stick so he never made contact with the puck.

1 - it was a kick
2 - Hossa never touched the puck with his stick
3 - the puck never crossed the line with any visual proof (probably didn't at all)

There was no denying that it was a kicking motion, so at least the NHL got that part right, getting 2 and 3 wrong is as embarrasing/corrupt as it gets. Pathetic.

Wow...just saw it. What a fucking joke. Kicking it, doesn't cross the line and it's a goal. Just fucking wow.

Edit: Also...how the fuck do these assholes at Versus have jobs? 4 and a half minutes of watching various angles before you see he kicked the fucking puck? Jesus.

If the Stars lose in regulation tonight, the Blackhawks and Ducks lock up their spots and all that's left for the Western Conference is to jockey for position.

The Sabres can lock up their spot tonight, but the Eastern Conference won't be decided until the final day.

I wonder how different the Western playoff picture would be if Colorado won more than 9 of their last 40 or so games.
